■ Installing the battery and the SIM card
Keep all SIM cards out of the reach of small children. For availability and information on
using SIM card services, contact your SIM card vendor. This may be the service provider,
network operator, or other vendor.
Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery.
1. With the phone fold closed and the back of the phone
facing you, press the release button, and lift the
cover to remove it from the phone (1).

2. Lift out the battery (2).
3. To release the SIM card holder, gently pull the locking
clip, and open the holder (3). Insert the SIM card into the SIM card holder so
that the golden contact area on the card is facing downwards (4). Ensure that
the SIM card is properly inserted. Close the cover of the SIM card holder (5),
and press it gently to snap into place.
4. Replace the battery (6).

5. Place first the locking catches in the cover to the
locking catches on the phone (7), then press the
other end of the cover into place (8).
